Geoff Merrill's Shiraz is award winning, so good in fact he missed Shane Warne's 600th test wicket at Old Trafford taking a call to be told he'd just 'won a Watson' for it, one of Australia's most prestigious wine accolades. Intense and complex fruit with balanced tannins, this remains one of Merrill's finest.

Miraflores, Sauvignon Blanc, Chile
This is a very well balanced fresh and fruity sauvignon blanc, typical of the Chilean approach to this ever-refreshing perfect-on-a-summer-day grape. It is not known whether Chilean musical hero José del Rio, once the world's fastest guitar player, was inspired by a chilled Miraflores during his successful 250bpm rendition of 'Duelling Banjos'.
